Old Forester 1897 Bourbon

Old Forrester has released a series of historic recipe Bourbons: 1897, 1910 and 1920. By far, the 1897 is the best. Moderately high ABV of 50%, with some nutty characteristics, backed by soft brown sugar notes. Comes across a bit like a warming pecan pie. Definite notes of pecan in this one.
